In Singapore we went into the city and saw the Merlion, then we went to the Night Safari. There we had a buffet dinner and then took the tram guided tour. Then back to Chiangi Airport to leave for Japan.

We arrived safely to Japan, just in time to see the Cherry Blossoms. We thank everyone, both in Australia and Japan, for your prayers and support.
April 6, 2017
Today at ELSA the Capitanio girls had their lunch party together. One student’s host-mother brought a cake because tomorrow is her Capitanio girl’s birthday. After eating and practicing, everyone went to the McCauley Hall at SAC, where some of the host families and SAC students gathered. Our Capitanio students gave a speech, danced 2 dances, and sang 2 songs. After this the girls were each presented with a Certificate of Participation from the Language Center, ELSA. There were tears as students said goodbye to their teachers and buddies.
April 5, 2017
There were farewell parties today at all three school, but SAC was at the same time as OLSH. I went to OLSH and then to MMC. At MMC the party was held during Lesson 8. The girls made speeches, sang some songs and performed a dance. In all the schools there were many tears as they said their goodbyes and exchanged gifts,.
April 4, 2017
This morning at OLSH, our Capitanio students were presented certificates for their energetic participation in their classes at OLSH. One of the girls gave a speech at the end and cried. They have made many friends here. After their homeroom they went to their classes for lessons. At recess the sat outside to enjoy their friends and the nice weather.
