Today was the farewell party at the language center, ELSA. Many of the host families were there. First, Sally Collyns presented each student with a Certificate of Participation. They also received a small toy koala to remember Their good times in Australia. After this we had lunch. Each family brought something to share. Following this the Capitanio students presented songs and a dance. Then they taught the dance to whoever wanted to learn. We finished by singing our school song. (さらに…)

This morning we had a hardy breakfast and then, headed for Seal Bay Conservation Park. We saw many Sea Lions there. From here we went to Flinders Chase Visitor Centre and had lunch. Then we went to see the Admiral Arch. It was awesome! Not far from here were the Remarkable Rocks, where we climbed on huge boulders. On the way back to the ferry, we stopped at Pennington Bay to stretch our legs. When we arrived back at Kingcote, we had fish and chips for dinner and ate them in a nearby park. After this we returned to Cape Jervis by ferry, and from here we returned to Adelaide. (さらに…)

We drove down to Cape Jervis with the Genesis Tour and Charter Bus. Then we boarded the Sea Link Ferry and arrived at Kangaroo Island. We then went to Prospect Hill, where we climbed about 512 steps and saw the beautiful Dudley Peninsula. We visited the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Farm and then went to Parndana Wildlife Park where we had lunch and saw many animals. After this we went to Stokes Bay to a secluded beach. It was beautiful to go under huge rocks and discover the sandy beach on the other side. We got on the bus and returned to the little village called Kingscote. There we watched a man feed the pelicans. After this we finally went to the Island Resort Motel where we had a nice hot shower and a delicious dinner. Everyone slept well. (さらに…)

Today is Easter Monday. It is a holiday in Australia. There is a big horse racing show going on today at Oakbank, near the Adelaide hills. It is a warm, beautiful day.
