We left Singapore to fly back to Japan. Now the students will share their experiences
in Adelaide, South Australia with their families and friends. ?

This morning we left Adelaide. Many of the students and their host mothers had
tears in their eyes. When we arrived at Singapore, we went to the Night Safari. There
we had a Viking style meal, and then rode on the tram and listened in English to the
explanations about the various animals we saw. ?Now we are waiting for our flight
back to Nagoya.?

Today was the farewell with the host families. ?MMC students had assembly this
morning. The MMC students prepared a power point with pictures of their activities.
Then they went to SAC where the main farewell was going to take place.
At the farewell with the families the students sang and then received certificates of
participation, distributed by their teachers from the Language Center.

April 2, 2014
Today at SAC the girls had a farewell party with their buddies. They divided into
groups for different activities: dance (Macarena, Chicken Dance, Nutbush City Limits
and Hookey Pookey); mask making; wearing a Yukata; playing Uno; doing Origami;
playing Broken Words; and playing a card game about Australia. At the end the
Capitanio students sang ‘The Power of Your Love’ and ‘Furusato’. They all had fun.

The Capitanio students at MMC went to Glenelg with their buddies today. They went
to ‘The Beach House’, which was a game and amusement center. The day was a warm
36 degrees. All had a great time together. ?
