The afternoon tour today took us to Dublin Castle. We weren’t allowed to go inside the castle, but we did see the gun powder tower and some of the original walls of the castle. We also saw the chapel with its beautiful stained glass window and pipe organ. We had to walk a good distance, so the girls were a little tired, but they liked the chapel very much and took pictures there.?

This afternoon, we visited Trinity College and the Book of Kells. We also saw the great library which reminded everyone of Harry Potter. In the evening, after dinner, we went, by bus, ?to walk along the pier at Dun Laoghaire. It was windy but the weather was nice. We arrived there at 8:30pm and left at 9:30. The students enjoyed eating an ice cream cone that they bought at the end of the pier. They enjoyed the evening and the fresh air.?

Today after lunch the girls had Chat Zone. After this they had boxing with another group. The teacher, Steven, is an actual boxing instructor. Some students were very good! The day was cloudy but we didn’t get much rain.?

Today was cloudy. We went to Malahide Castle with a group of Italian students. We saw the 15th Century part of the castle, as well as the 18th century part. After the tour of the castle the students ate their lunches, and the we went to Howth, a fishing village. It started to rain, but it didn’t stop students from buying freshly cooked fish and chips. Later the rain eased up and the students went walking and found the ice cream shop. They enjoyed the food and the day.?

Today was also a very beautiful, warm and sunny day: ?very unusual for Ireland. After lunch, at 1:30, the students had the last of the special conversation classes which were for Capitanio students only. After the class they had about 30 minutes before the next activity, so some students played on the exercise bars located behind the school. At 3:00 the girls had Irish Dance lessons. This was taught by a professional teacher. She was very impressed with our students because they learned so fast. Next Thursday evening will be the Irish Dance Night, so the girls will be able to demonstrate their ?new skills.?
